Leaving a review here and **************** as well. If you need any service or are redirected by a solar company to this company or **************** (their new name), request a different service provider. This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with and will not follow up with their customers to get repairs done, even after you pay them to get it scheduled (you have to pay for them to schedule the work). My solar company went out of business, and my 3g network stopped working. Solar edge referred me to sun system. They charge 495 to my credit card for install of the new part.(part was free because still under warranty) After not hearing from them in 3 weeks I reach out to them. They are now nova source power. I have been trying to get a refund for 3 weeks. No email, and when you call it goes to voicemail. Luckily I disputed the charge with my ************** and hopeful that the charge is denied. SunSystem is big on promises, but not on customer service, quality solar energy systems or energy savings. Do not believe anything you are told by the salesmen or company representatives. I was promised a guaranteed level of power production as with all solar systems I am aware of. My home has, "perfect sun," meaning there is nothing blocking the panels at anytime. I have a ******** solar panel system on my roof and the inverter is beeping a fault indicator for several hours a day. ******** (the manufacturer) was fairly good at handling my request but they use third parties for service. Almost a week elapsed before I heard from SunSystem Technology about the repair call and it was two more weeks before they could come out. The window they game me was 7:00-9:00 am. They removed and replaced our solar panels so we could put on a new roof. The guys sent were too lazy to take the panels down the ladder and slide them down the edge of the gutter. With the first rain they leaked. I notified the company. They sent someone to repair the leak. However, the next time it rained it leaked again, I called a professional and was told it couldn't be repaired. We had the gutter replaced. This began in May. Rcv'd a not so unusual call in Oct. from Sun Systems Tech., that again my system was off the monitor. They said my installer ***contacted them for the repair, which has happened before over these past 4 years and repairs were always politely and efficiently done. This time while here I told the guys there was a squirrel's nest under the panel where conduit pipe links to the panel and would they kindly blow it out. Extremely unprofessional from the first call. Some guy (Andrew?) cold calls me, starts firing questions and gets upset when I question who he is. Turns out Sunpower contracted them to replace my inverters. Their crew gets here, tears my working system apart and then realizes they don't have enough inverters so my system is now down for 3-4 weeks?
