SUNSTORE CLOSED ITS BUSINESS. THIS WAS TOLD TO ME DIRECTLY BY ONE OF THEIR (NOW FORMER) EMPLOYEES WHEN I RAN INTO ISSUES WITH A BREAKER AND TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK IN JULY OF THIS PAST YEAR. I CALLED FIREFLY SOLAR AND THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED THE BREAKER ISSUE. YOUR PANELS ARE WARRANTIED FOR PARTS BY MANUFACTURE BUT YOUR INSTALL WARRANTY IS NOW USELESS UNLESS YOU WANT TO FILE A SUIT AGAINST THEM..
Sunstore did a fine job installing my solar panels but they will not perform warranty work. I have left voice messages nearly every day for over a month with no response. I will now try the Greenville Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce.
I had a large system installed in 2015. The panels that "never fail" and have a 25 year warranty actually do, and my first one failed at the six year point. Sunstore obviously doesn't wan to do the warranty work. They don't answer the phone, and they don't return messages. I continued calling daily for about a week and no one ever answered the phone. We are still paying thousands for our solar panels but the company has been repeatedly unresponsive for required maintenance. My husband just got shocked trying to fix something and is trying to figure out if he should go into the ER. I am beyond ticked with this company and will be finding a lawyer if this is not addressed ASAP
