Was given a very inflated quote for repair on a fairly new mower. Essentially, a carburetor clean was all that was needed. $1,200 quote down to $100 was the actual cost upon a second opinion. Customers who don’t know any better are being taken advantage of: customer beware! Discontinue service jobs rather than rip off your customers, it’s very unethical.

We recently had a very disappointing experience with the Sunshine John Deere dealership in Welsh, LA. A rep from Sunshine came out to our location and determined that the clutch had gone out on our tractor. So we paid for that analysis, then we paid to have our tractor picked up and brought to Welsh, and then we paid for the quote from the Welsh facility on what it would take to fix our tractor.
