This place was awesome. I stayed here as part of a wedding party and if you're getting married in Allenspark, especially the Wild Basin Lodge, this is (as far as I'm concerned) a non-negotiable. Having your entire wedding party stay in one location makes for the most magical, and at times practical, experience. Stayed here as part of a wedding party and it was such a perfect setup! Having access to a full, well-appointed kitchen was probably my favorite part. The rooms were quiet, though the beds weren't the most comfortable. But I still slept well. I do wish the website had said there wouldn't be any soap or toiletries provided in the bathrooms. I know it sounds silly, but I hadn't stayed at a cabin in years and just didn't realize I had to bring my own soap, shampoo, etc. They also provide coffee and a coffee maker, but no mugs o... read more
Loved the wood-burning stove! Wifi worked well. Beautiful property and generous hosts!
I have been coming here for 10 years. There are roomy, well-appointed cabins, and a hot tub. Hosts are organized and kind. Wildlife can be seen sometimes from your cabin. Food is great and healthy.
I had my wedding here in August and it could not have been a better location! The owners were wonderful and super accommodating. We were able to have my entire wedding party stay with us, the trail is beautiful. Everyone loved our location. Super clean, and very cute. Extra points for being dog friendly!
