My son was supposed to be a new patient today, but I decided to leave because office staff was clearly violating HIPPA via a nurse/receptionist blasting a parent on speaker phone for everyone to hear. All of the childs medical information was out in the open. I did inform the receptionist about the issue and that it was a violation and terribly unprofessional. They blew me off. I'm having surgery in 2 weeks and my surgeon has requested a letter from all my Dr's (Primary-Thoracic Surgeon, etc, including my Neurologist Dr Malik.) My surgeons office has called, I have called, any have gotten no response, so today I stopped in the Westchase office to see if I could pick it up and was told "WE DON'T DO THAT", WELL THANKS A LOT! I suggest that you don't go to this office for any neurology problems, seems they are too busy for a patients needs..............VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST!!
My wife and I always have a pleasant experience. She goes there for neurologist and would recommend for those in need.
I had extremely bad migraines EVERY single day. I started with Dr. Malik and then started working with Stephanie Schutt, Nurse Practitioner. They were finally able to find a medicinal combination that had relieved me of daily migraines. Stephanie is so patient and kind. So happy I found a practice that was finally able to get me relief to function throughmy daily duties at home and work.
