Sunshine Leisurescapes was one of the pool companies recommended by our house contractor. At first, while they were selling us their pool package and hot tub they were great. I was told that maintaining a pool was easy and that they would guide me through. We contracted this company to build our pool. At first all was good. But it has been endless misery for the past seven years. Things go wrong all the time. Pool leaking water. Cover not operating at least half the time, they have no clue why. Last year they closed the pool but left the pump on all winter, then blamed us for it. Staff don't know how to solve simple problems. Didn't understand simple hot tub issues which we had to learn ourselves and educate them. Always upselling unnecessary chemicals. Don't use this company.

Terrible experience over several years of weekly service. Sent only 1 person to install liner which has huge wrinkles in it. Installed pool heater, not to code, without grounding and improper venting. As result heat exchanger broke and whole thing needs to be replaced. Lucky it didn’t burn house down. Installed sand filter incorrectly - left key bolt off filter drain plug which resulted in bent lateral assembly and water and sand pouring out drain. I rarely leave bad reviews, but after multiple frustrating experiences with Sunshine LeisureScapes, I feel compelled to echo what so many others have already said in their negative reviews. The customer service is consistently poor. They almost never answer the phone, and if they say they'll call you back—don’t count on it. I’ve had emails ignored entirely, and have to chase them for communication. Being a new pool owner we didn't realize what we were getting into, but the team at Sunshine LeisureScapes were excellent in explaining everything, troubleshooting and walking us though the process. Jenn in the service department took several calls and offered to help anytime we needed. The other staff that help with testing the water and providing feedback on chemicals have also been great to deal with. Overall very happy, even though it has cost some money (no fault of Sunshine)!
