Sunshine House has been a GREAT solution for our family! Deanna, Leah, and their whole team care well for every kid and go out of their way to make sure they have a great experience. Clean, safe, fun, and educational - hard to beat! Thankful for such a great place for my kids!
We are thoroughly happy with the Sunshine House school and staff!
The management here is… weird, to say the least. Never says hello when you walk in, avoids eye contact. What is going on?? Additionally, the program encourages children to only learn through play, not actual instruction. The teachers are not allowed to teach calendars, name recognition and writing, listening during circle time, etc. it’s whatever the kids want, they get. Look at elsewhere for school readiness.
Our son has been at Sunshine House Centerra for 5 years now. All the staff has been amazing and he has loved coming each day. He has learned so much and he will miss everyone as he goes to kindergarten.
We send our 10 month old and three year old daughter here and could not be more happy with intentional care provided. Their teachers in the infant room, two year old room, and preschool room have helped increase our confidence in using day care as child care with the supportive environment they have provided. The directors have been so attentive to our needs as well since we started. Both kids eat all the meals provided as well, we like the updates we get on the app indicating this.
