My child and I visited the Sunshine House on Greystone Blvd. today seeking child care for the very first time together. The staff was very friendly. We were greeted with a smile. My child will be 2 in October. I was extremely nervous about the thought of leaving my baby with people I don't know, but the staff reassured me, he and I both will be ok and get through this. My children have been coming to the Sunshine House since 2020 @ 3months. Teachers like Mona, Kim, Tia and Asia and Tina have been huge in my babies growth. When we transition from Mrs. Peggy as our Director to Mrs. Teelah we seen a bigger change in our Sunshine. I wouldn’t recommend this daycare center to anyone. This has been the worst experience for my lil great niece. Her mom work from home and she trusted the Sunshine House Staff to care for her daughter as if she was their own. My lil great niece has been going to this center for about 4 months and it has been a total disaster. There has been multiple incidents happened with my niece and her mother has tried to cope with but it has gotten way out of hand. 1st incident- the director’s child scratched my niece on the face twice. ... read more
It’s cruel when you send a child outside with no jacket on. Even crueler how a single mother gets treated when trying to do what’s best for her child. My bonus baby, has been treated so much differently than any one else and i do not appreciate it.
Very dissatisfied with how my daughter has been treated while attending this facility. I would not encourage sending your child there
