Is now Sunshine Foods A great grocery store for a small town. Prices are good since the store has become part of the local Sunshine Foods chain. They may not have every item a larger store can offer, but definitely fill a need for a small community. The store is often sponsors of local events and contribute much to the community. It is almost impossible to shop there without running into friends and neighbors.

I like smaller grocerie stores And I like Sunshine foods a lot better than Hy-vee, however I have a Hyvee right across the street from me so I pay a little more for the convenience. But this is the place for deals. I went on a tuesday when milk is 2.19 a gallon. They had a great deal on ground beef too. The store is smaller so it's easier to find things and you get out of there faster. I wish they would build one by my apartment.
