I made an appointment for a routine teeth cleaning. The doctor decided to go-ahead with a different cleaning procedure without informing me of the cost difference or asking if I wanted it vs what I made the appointment for. The usual cleaning is fully covered by my insurance, this cleaning was not, so now I'm out several hundred dollars.

I am a senior and just when in today for a cleaning, examination and x-ray. Initially the dentist was over the top nice that she seemed disingenuous.
