First and foremost, this laundromat owes me at least $20. One of the large machines was being serviced, I assumed it was working because he was literally fixing it. It was not. $4.50 wasted. Half of the washing machines was not working with no indication that they werent until you went to put quarters in and saw one small strip of tape over the coin slot. This place needs to be shut down but no one will do anything. It is a disgrace to the town, but the town of Maiden will not do anything because it is privately owned. The building is crumbling, ceiling leaks and is falling in. This place is not safe, it is beyond nasty. Machines do not work and take your money. It is NEVER cleaned. The floor is caked with grime, there has been both HUMAN AND ANIMAL feces left on the floor. The washing machines are caked with detergent, hair and filth. If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT go here! I’ve been here a total of 3 times. And every time it’s bad! There has not been 1 time I came and I didn’t get screwed out of money. After the 2nd time I said never again. Well school/work night, sports, late, tired, kids, dinner….I took the lazy way instead of driving a little bit further to safe place- I came here. Needs negative stars. Water in floor from a leaking washer, half the washers and dryers don't work. Will take money though. Dryers don't heat. Clothes smelled weird after washing in gain. Bathroom was terrible looking. Lint traps in dryers were full. Never again

Wouldnt even give a star if i didnt have to. Half of the equipment doesn't work, every other washer or dryer is broken. Had to hold door closed on a dryer after putting money in, one of them didn't even heat at all even thought set on HOT setting. The "mega" washer is more like a double size washer, and the double washer is the size of a regular washer. I normally go to Lincolnton but they didn't have power. I'll just wait it out next time and go to Lincolnton. The bathroom was also disgusting!! Never again will I waste any ... read more
