Dr. Byrne performed a Laminectomy on me in November 24. I chose Dr. Byrne mostly due to his positive Google reviews and now I have no hesitation in adding to the list. The whole team were very professional and caring throughout my journey. Within 6 weeks post surgery I am back on my mower and playing golf and free from all the nasty pain medication. A big shout out also to all the staff at Sunshine Coast Private and Laura from Sports and Spinal for looking after me and helping me on the road to recovery.
Having dealt with Stephen and Vikki and the whole office staff.I can highly recommend them for their caring and personalised service.I have had 3 operations performed by Stephen Byrne and his surgery and mannerism is second to none.He has given me a better outcome health wise and changed my life for the better.Thank you to everyone I have been in contact with during my time with Stephen.He has excellent people skills in consideration and personal interests.Vikki is kind and caring person and excellent at her job.
I had surgery on a herniated/bulged/ruptured disc in my back in August 2024 with Dr Byrne. It was actually the second time i had surgery on that disc. The first time was in roughly 2005 where i had a microdiscectomy done in Melbourne and a silcone spacer screwed into the vertebrae (discontinued not long after i had it done). That was a successful surgery in my opinion as i never had another issue until an innocuous disc slip in December 2023. Second worst appointment I have had, doctor didn’t look at anything and didn’t even mention the area I have pain in after explain for 20 odd minutes to his nurse, of the pain levels and then he walks in for 2 mins with out looking at anything and then asks if I have sharp pains???
I had a laminectomy with Dr Byrne at Sunshine Coast Neurosurgery. I found both Dr Byrne and the team professional and easy to work with. I had numerous questions both before and after my surgery that were all addressed clearly for me in a manner that was easy for me to understand. It was fantastic for me to know that I didn’t have to leave the coast to receive such a high level of treatment and that I have access to any ongoing support that I may need
