UPDATE Dr Gray performed a resurfacing in early September 2024 and by Christmas I was able to run a triathlon. The recovery was incredibly fast and the whole process was smooth. In May 2025 he also performed resurfacing on the other hip and now I am happily run, bike, swim and play football. NO PAIN. Obviously physiotherapy and exercise regime very important! Couldn’t be happier!
My son just had surgery with Dr Gray. He was amazing in explaining everything, understanding sons needs (has an autoimmune disease that he researched to work out what's required) took the time in surgery to do all needed and follow up in hospital was brilliant. Oh and Deb his receptionist was fantastic!

Dr Gray and his team are excellent. I am so happy I entrusted my hip health journey to him. My outcome is so much better than what I expected and now pain free. I thoroughly recommend Sunshine Coast Joint Surgery.
I recently had a hip replacement by Dr Gray and his team. Couldn't fault the pre op regime and post op follow up highly enough. 16 days post op now after first follow up appointment and standing and walking under unsupported. Leg and hip feels strong and secure. Such a relief from old hip which let me down many times. Deb at reception is a treasure.
