Sunshine Coast Health Centre is life-changing. The staff truly care and treat you with dignity, the setting is beautiful, and the program goes far beyond the standard 12-step model. It’s not cheap, but the holistic approach and supportive environment make it worth it.
I’ve struggled with my mental health for many years, but before going to Sunshine Coast Health Centre, I was in an especially dark place—dealing with severe depression and debilitating anxiety. Had a very educational and emotionally supportative experience. Staff were very engaging and professional throughout. Private accommodations was a must for me, and was provided to all clients. Ample personal time throughout the program, with church access on Sundays. Small group of men only, around 25 clients at a time. This was my 2nd time coming to the center. It was beyond amazing to see and feel the brotherhood and connection that was there the last time, still be there. Through 7 months of healing at SCHC. I have witnessed the care and compassion that the staff has towards its clients. They truly make you feel human when you are arguably at your worst in life. I couldn't have got where I am today mentally without the program and it's staff that facilitate it.
