The staff and bird were really nice and fun but the castle itself is horrible. There nothing cool about it and it's not castley at all. You can't go anywhere except the doll museum which is NOT a castle thing. Sad to see this was once Australia's coolest castle.
You cant go anywhere in the castle it is all closed due to disrepair the only place you can visit is a creepy doll museum Benson was the only good part, but I felt sorry for him at the same time.
The exhibits were wild. Probably not kid friendly with the nightmare inducing puppets but I had tremendous fun.
Saw on the road had to make a u-ey and visit. For $10pp this was amazing. Feel a little bad about it all but incredible find. Hidden gem on the coast!!!
Sunshine Castle was OK, although you can't see as much of it as you used to as some of it is inaccessible due to natural deterioration of the building.
