Excellent coffee & nice people
Excellent bagels made in store. This shop is very popular with locals. Lines at peak times. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.
Bagels were good but the service was terrible. I decided to try this place because I heard their bagels were good. I went to pick up an order that I placed online. The women at the counter had trouble finding my order so they got someone from the back to come out. This woman was VERY rude. No smile and she looked very unhappy...Instead of asking nicely or even in a regular voice, she screamed at me asking for my name after I had already given her my name twice. I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid! The cream cheese flavors are delicious and solid SEC/BEC. Rebecca is the sweetest! Lovely customer service.
