We had a bad experience with another vet but brought our sick cat to Sunshine who were open, honest and jumped in to understand our case and help us make the decisions we needed. Though our time was short with them, they were caring and understanding and I would highly recommend anyone having their pets cared for at Sunshine.

I was told my dog needed surgery for a tumor they found on her chest when I took her in for a rabies vaccine. I asked for information concerning the surgery and a cost estimate. No one got back to me with any info, they just wanted me to schedule a surgery. After asking 3 times, someone finally gave me a cost estimate. I took my dog elsewhere and the care was superior and the cost was 1/2 of what Sunshine quoted. My other dog took the pain medication meant for the bigger dog and needed to have vomiting induced. Quite overdue on this review; but I used to come here a lot up until I had to undergo an unexpected euthanasia visit for my cat (which i did here), which is the main reason for this review. Dr. Twilla (among other associates) helped me through the whole grueling process that day with the utmost amount of patience/time, respect, and support (of more than 1 kind) -- and I haven't forgotten it since, even a year later today.
