Our little dog, Lady, had a great first visit
I brought my dog here for a new pet visit because of their competitive pricing for the cytopoint, just so that they could raise their price a month and a half later WITHOUT notice. They now charge a $20 'nurse assessment' fee, which is rediculous because they're still charging a tech fee. They said that the charge for nurse assessment was added because their cytopoint price was so low. Really? So we're just trying to increase charges? Sunshine animal hospital has always been willing to help! They answer the phone, respond quickly to appointment requests and all the staff members are very welcoming. I’ve been using this vet for over 2 years now and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
UPDATE 2025: We had many great years with Sunshine Animal Hospital, but made the decision to change clinics after a series of challenges. 1.) Dr. K has always been wonderful, but the quality of vets is mixed and you can’t always request or control who you get. 2.) The focus on clients has decreased, being replaced by a commercial operation mindset. 3.) Most recently, our dog unfortunately had a very large oral melanoma that was missed by a vet at Sunshine.
