I live in Los Angeles, but while in Monterey, I needed a haircut. After reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. Making an appointment was very easy - you just call. Yes, good old-fashion way. The owner was very accommodating and I had an appointment the very next day. I have a short pixie hair cut. Believe it or not, it's the hardest cut, as it's not very forgiving. I’ve only had 3 people in my 25 years cut my hair including this wonderful sweet human being. I am very picky with my cuts especially when it comes to layers since I have a lot of hair but it’s thin. I also just moved to the area and spent a month looking for a good salon and she was worth the effort to find :) I am so glad I decided to trust her! She did a wonderful job and made sure I got exactly what I asked for without risking too much of the length! (I asked for long layers, slight v shape, remove dead ends/trim, keep l... read more

The hair salon owner is very nice. She cut my partners hair on our 17 yr anniversary. He loved his haircut.

I got a haircut here to fix my hair after it was butchered by a different salon I went to, Jay fixed it up and now it looks amazing. I just got a simple haircut and some highlights and it looks fantastic I don’t think I’ve ever liked my hair more. It’s a small place, she needs more recognition and is such a nice lady as well.
