We had a motor and transmission replaced on our 1986 VW Vanagon at Sunset Westy (Eric and Kelly). We were treated fairly and ethically and any concerns we had were addressed promptly. Highly recommend this business, the best vw repair place we have found, they know their stuff!
We had a catastrophic engine failure on Birdy, our 85 VW Westfalia, in Grand Forks BC in June 2023 (travelling from Nova Scotia). We called about a dozen garages, but none were willing or able to help out. It was a huge relief to have Kelly say "Come on up!" After a spectacular 200 km tow truck ride through the mountains, Birdy went straight in the shop.
