We went in October. Weather was still nice and cool. Did get a bit breezy but we enjoyed our stay. Was stayed in the big family lodge which was clean and new. We'll definitely recommend it and will go back again. The host was really kind as well.

Wonderful place to stay in! We were in the one room cabin and it is super comfortable and cozy. The living room, kitchen and bedroom were very clean and organized. Something i’d like to also mention is that they offer mini golf, pool table, foosball and pingpong which was extra to what I expected. The beach is full of activities for both kids and adults. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is seeking to have a great time with family and friends. (You must be willing to get out of your comfort zone to enjoy).

The location was great and service from the owner was unparalleled. That said, a couple things could have used some maintenance - the shuffleboard station, one of their fishing boats for rent (engine wouldn't start), and the minigolf course was a little underwhelming. The wifi is really spotty but I didn't use it much. I had a wonderful time on the lake with my girlfriend and her family. It's more than capable of providing an entertaining and/or relaxing week and I was very satisfied overall. It's what you make of it!

This year was the first time we stayed at Sunset Shores and we loved it! The cabin was adorable, clean, and perfect for our family. The AC and WiFi was a plus. The beach was clean and there were plenty of water activities to keep all of us busy. Fishing off the docks was fun. The boat we rented had a perfect running motor. Fire pit has a great sunset view. Other guests were very nice & fun. To top it off, Chris and her family were super friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!
