It was a perfect weekend getaway. There is something to the calm and serenity that comes with an off-season visit. Nobody was on the lake, no sounds of boat engines, and no people. Just us in a beautiful log cabin with a hot tub that provides a perfect view of the lake. We watched birds of all kinds flock to the feeder attached to the porch. And we witnessed the dense morning fog tumbling across the water as it tried to freeze. The fireplace (with wood provided) added to the ambience of the room. It was wonderful.
Quiet, beautify scenery, we saw 13 species of birds on our deck, fantastic fireplace and room, grill was great…just an amazing time for our anniversary. We have already suggested it to several family members. We had a problem with our heating. Called on a Friday and they advised that the service members might not be available at that time…but just a couple hours later when we got back from an outing, it was fixed and working perfectly! The location and accommodation were great. Close to shopping and attractions. Lots of room for families.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort! People are very friendly, cabin beautiful, loved the scenery. Will go back next year!!
