Sunset Lodging is beautifully situated on high ground overlooking a sandy beach, majestic sea stacks, and the Pacific Ocean. For a 2-Star lodge, the Sunset is terrific! First, every staff member is so friendly and helpful! We had a large king room (#191) and it was great. The view was worth twice the price! Yes, it's dated and unglamorous, but it was perfect. Couch, chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a great patio. It was all we needed. They obviously love dogs as our room had a blanket, sheet and treats. I didn't realize a breakfast was included and, while it wasn't much, it was enough to start the day. Great coffee! Bandons best kept secret! Beautiful view. The room was so spacious for my mother and I. The Beautiful lady checking us in was kind and helpful. Can't wait to come back.
Second time we’ve stayed here in the pet friendly studios with ocean views and it’s amazing! The only thing I think they could improve is the breakfast but other than that it’s a wonderful place.
This was a very charming hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff. Our room was on the smaller side, and was all we needed, but the views made it feel much larger. The location really can’t be beat with great access to the beach and right between the two major attractions of the Bandon coast line.
