We would advise others not to stay at Sunset Motel in Batavia. We had a very negative experience at Sunset. Over the phone the proprietor made Sunset sound like every thing we wanted. So we made the mistake of giving our credit card number and making a reservation. When we arrived, we asked to be shown a room first. The room shown to us was smelly with very old, worn furniture. Staying in this motel was a nightmare. I spoke to the manger 2 times and he was well aware I would have dogs with me, it is the only reason I stayed there as they have NO ammenities. I picked this place because they took dogs. We checked in around 8 pm and went to sleep. The next morning we were asked to leave because it was raining and they didnt want the dogs there in the rain.
