Sunset Inn just reopened over July 4th weekend from the hurricanes. The new cabanas and swimming pool are a wonderful addition to the retro rooms. We rented a cabana for July 4th and loved everything about it. The couple managing the resort , Sandra & Ryan , are pure gold, a top notch husband and wife team that go out of their way to ensure your comfort and that you have everything you need. I stayed here for a work trip a few months before Milton. I returned again about a month after and was broken hearted to see the damage that this amazing place suffered. I spoke with the owner at length during my stay before the hurricane and was amazed by the amount of work and love that was put into this place. I'm not sure what the ultimate plan or outcome of this will be for the owner(s) but I certainly hope that they are able to rebuild and reopen at some point. The location is unbeatable, with the beach just a 30-second walk away, making it perfect for a beach getaway. The room had clearly been upgraded, which was nice, though you could still notice some signs of its age. One of the most magical moments was swimming in the evening—the water glowed around my body, thanks to bioluminescence from tiny marine organisms. It was an unforgettable experience! Overall, a very pleasant stay!
Such a beautiful place located right off the beach. I visit TI 5 or 6 times a year and Sunset Beach is always where I stay. Sunset Inn is the perfect location. The rooms are spotless, comfortable beds, awesome decor. The area is quiet and less crowded than the surrounding areas that are more touristy. Caddys and Ka'taki are within walking distance. Parking is close to the rooms and no traffic or expensive parking tonqorry about. Super friendly and welcoming staff . I will definitely be staying again.
