Clean rooms, sparkling pool, and great rate for the area. Host was friendly and accommodating as well as responsive to minor issues with room. This is a vintage style motel at its best. No frills, just a good safe place to sleep while away from home. Grocery store as well as coffee shops and diners nearby. Rooms have mini fridge and microwaves. If you get a room on the one floor “strip” you don’t have to worry about overhead noise. I would do it again!
We stayed at the Sunset Inn for 2 nights. Kiran welcomed me and explained everything I needed to know when staying at the SI. I asked him for recommendations for dinner and breakfast and he gave me several great choices. I asked him for things he thought might be interesting to do in the area. We went to Chesterwood and it was really interesting. The rooms although dated were very clean, a bit small, the AC worked great for the 95 degree weather, and the pool was nice. Very nice owner. Close to everything. Wifi worked well, which is good. Not a lot of cell phone service up that way. Ubers are tough. Overall a clean small room for a night. I wish I knew the pool was open. It's gorgeous!
Great little place to stay. Friendly and quick check in. Even though the decor is very dated the tiny room was immaculate, nice hot water, and the fluffiest towels ever. Only negative was the super firm beds. But would stay here again.
Made reservation on day of travel but flight delayed even further immediately after reservation. Owner unwilling to check me in after 1am and refused to refund money. Not a very friendly experience - would recommend going elsewhere - less expensive in long run.
