below average motels stayed at the sunset inn in laramie wyoming on jan. 10, 2009 i was out of my room for aprox. 8 hrs. when i came back a blanket that is very special to my son and myself was stolen out of my room. The maid was the only person in my room and the hotel staff would not even reason with me over this. it was and is very upsetting
Although "AAA approved" this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in The Sunset Inn was host to our family on a recent trip when we were stranded by our broken down car in Laramie, WY. Neither the outside or the inside of the hotel is maintained or inviting. This is one of the few hotels in town that permit dogs, however there is no grass anywhere in sight for the dogs to stretch their legs on! The billboard outside the hotel is deceiving that children are "free", however their prices are so outrageous for the rundown hotel w... read more
Better Before! I stayed at the Sunset Inn, In December of 2009. and the People that had it were wonderful. i Have a smoke Allergy and someone had lit a ciggerette up in a non smoking room. So i informed the manager of the innconvience and she happily moved me to anthoer room. She was a sweetheart. Thier motel does need a few upgrades and a little better maitnence.
