Absolutely delicious and no kids to be seen! – We had a fantastic dinner at the Sunset Grille this past weekend. The food was great, the view was fantastic, and to cap it all off, unlike the rest of the island, there were no kids in sight! This place was thankfully kid free, allowing a pleasant, relaxing meal. The Mahi-Mahi special and the Smoked Salmon were delicious dishes. Make sure you ask for the corner high-top table for the most romantic setting!
Bad experience for such a delightful setting! – Just as people remember a good food experience, they never forget a bad one either. Seven of us entered the restaurant looking forward to a great meal and a beautiful sunset, When we asked why we could not have separate checks, our waitress told us we could divide the check into thirds as most items were the same price. Where the locals go to eat – The place was reccomended by our local wildlife tour guide. He gave up his job as a commodities broker to enjoy life for awhile. Absolutely fabulous food, service, etc. Best value in the state, let alone the isalnd. A must for any discrimenating diner.
What a view! – The location and ambiance of the Sunset Grille is perhaps the best kept secret on Hilton Head Island. It is directly on the Intercoastal Waterway with 3 walls of floor to ceiling windows to give you a spectacular view of the boats going by on the waterway as well as the boats in the marina adjacent to the restaurant. The food is excellent with only the freshest ingredients and beautifully served by attentive waiters. The wine list is extensive and fairly priced as is the menu.
