Always, always excellent service and food. We drive past another Sunset Grill to eat here because of that. Although they are a franchise, everything is just better here. Other locations could take a few lessons from them. Atmosphere is typical breakfast spot/diner, but with room between tables. Best avocado toast from any breakfast menu in the area! Good specials too, especially on weekdays. 2+2+2: eggs, bacon/sausage and pancakes only $6.99 or $4.99 if you don't have meat.
The place to go for a great meal. Have been going here for years. Chris, Eugenia and Dan are great servers and very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend Sunset Grill (Ajax). Great portions and great food.
We always enjoy eating at the Sunset Grill. Dan, Cristy and Eugenia always greet you with a smile and make you feel like family. Plus the food is excellent!! Best coffee in Ajax!!
Our family favourite and a must go breakfast spot in Durham. This is not the same chain as other Sunset Grills. My family has been coming here forever, it’s our go to Sunday morning breakfast every weekend. Even birthday morning breakfasts! Dan, Christie, and Eugenia are truly the best and make us feel like family.
My cousins and I have breakfast here every Saturday morning. The food is great, portions are ample and above all the service is amazing. Dan, Christie and Eugenia are the absolute best servers ever. They always make you feel welcome and are so cheery. The service is stellar! Everyone from the lovely woman who cashes you out to the friendly cooks and Dan, Christie and Eugenia make you feel welcome and special. I highly recommend this restaurant. And the coffee is amazing which is a rarity these days.
