I went to the Sunset Grill today. So glad to see the same staff. Great service and the cooks did a great job.I will definitely return more often to this location.
This place is an absolute gem. Great service and delicious food.
Spoke to waitress when arrived and told her it was my first time coming in over 3 years. She told me she’s been working here over 30 years. I was only customer when I arrived just after 8am. Cook brought food to me. Home fries super bland with no seasoning. Sausages lukewarm warm. Eggs good and rye toast nice. But never saw waitress again until I was done with my meal. Never was offered coffee refill till she came to get my plate. Totally unacceptable. Will not return.
Until today, this place would have received five stars. But when I took my kids there today, I was shocked to see that a family was allowed to bring their pet dog. (It was a purse-sized dog, so no it wasn't a legitimate service animal.) Servers would walk past, touch the dog and then serve food. Disgusting. I've gone to this place since I moved to Ajax in 2002.
