Our first visit to the Sunset Grill on Thorburn Avenue in Red Deer's Clearview area exceeded our expectations. Our initial impression, based on mixed online reviews, was quickly put to rest upon entering the restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and immaculate, with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. We found the space to be both spacious and cozy. First time eating here , good service and good food , highly recommend
Its kinda pricey for 2 ppl to eat breakfast for 65$ and the fellow cooking was on the phone and touched hubby's toast while handling phone and hubby was grossed out and we asked for fresh toast and he was kinda annoyed. I think if it was the other way around he would feel the same, it was good food though our server was great. The cook just needs to wash hands when necessary and not handle the phone while cooking. That was honestly the only down side.
Tried Sunset Grill for the first time with some friends last weekend. Lots of seating and parking available. The menu is very extensive and we all ordered something different and it all came out delicious. Most egg dishes come with 3 eggs and lots of choices of meat. I ordered a platter that came with three eggs, two pancakes, two bacon slices, 2 sausages and hash browns and it was under $20. Food was served hot.
