Came in with a flat. It was ripped to shreds so they couldn't fix it but they were nice and helpful.
We were on our way back home when our window fell into our driver’s door. We stopped here before having to make a 5 hour road trip with a window blown out. They didn’t have the part we needed but Phil graciously helped us to pull the window up and gave us a clever temporary solution that held our window the entire road trip. This was impromptu and out of their way service. Phil was so kind to help us when we needed it the most, and did it from the kindness in his heart! I would recommend this shop to anyone!!
My clutch took its last breath after hours on Dallas Divide. We limped the truck back to Ridgway and left it outside of Sunset with a note and fingers crossed. Tom was honest - he was short staffed and wouldn’t be able to get to it right away, but he did get to it and took the time to look over another concern I had. I am really happy with my experience there and if I didn’t live 3 hours from the shop, I would be back.
Tom is an honest and fair mechanic. Both of those are hard to find these days. Not only does he have my personal business I refer everybody I know to him and trust that they will get a fair shake. I also send all of our company vehicles to him and he does an excellent job! Highly recommended! Clay
