Where to start? It could be the thousands of dollars of damaged shingles upon installation. It could be that they outsource their customer service to India and you cannot understand anyone when they/you call. But I think the worst part of my experience is that I sold my house and they're still billing me for the panels. They call me everyday for my "late payment". We have been very happy with our decision to go solar with Sunrun so far. Shanna was very informative, honest, and forward thinking when explaining everything. The team has kept us informed throughout the process and Shanna has even stopped in to say hi and check in on us when she's in the area. We are happy about going green and having an alternative for energy knowing where things are going. Highly recommend!
If I could give this company a negative 5, that would be my score. My experience with SunRun has been extremely disappointing. I would caution anyone—especially senior citizens—before doing business with this company. My solar system did not work for two months, which caused me to have very high electric bills. I was repeatedly told I would receive a credit for that time and was even informed that my contract allows for it. This guy comes up to my door where there are two clearly posted no soliciting signs, and proceeds to knock on my door. I told him im not interested in your services, please learn to read and leave my property. The sales guy tries to tell me it is not solicitation...... I will never use your services just because of people like this that are based on commission pay and dont now how to be respectful. If I wanted solar, id buy it. Attention to detail is important. If I am going to hire a company to perform 10s of thousands of dollars of work to my house and drill into my roof, I expect them to have a great attention to detail. Unfortunately, Sunrun doesn’t have this. I have a big no solicitor sign by my front door. Sunrun door to door salesman, clearly glanced at it and proceed to knock on my door.
