UPDATE: I'd like to thank Chris for working with MI Windows to not only get me the needed parts (instead of replacing the whole doorwall), but he even did a service call and installed the parts on the doorwall. I appreciate him working with MI Windows to get it figured out. Our house has had three doorwall replacements due to warranty issues. We recently purchased Sunrise's Noise Reducing Picture Window through Toledo Door & Window, specifically for its advertised sound-reducing capabilities and REGRET IT! Sunrise’s marketing materials clearly state that this window “eliminates unwanted sounds,” including traffic noise, with no disclaimers or fine print. Toledo Door & Window visited our home and saw firsthand that we live on a very busy, high-traffic street, and they made no mention of any conditions on this feature. Our house has had three doorwall replacements due to warranty issues. This last warranty replacement came in with no screw hole plugs for the outside and the glue for the magnetic slider for the inside blind arrived warped. They informed me that they would get me the parts, and they never followed up with me that they couldn't (although they have notes that they spoke with me - which they never did). I ordered windows from my contractor. He deals with a company called Sunrise Windows. The transom window I ordered on 2 separate occasions had a defect. There was a huge line all the way across the window. I can see, maybe it happening 1 time, but twice? Now, I wait for a 3rd transom window. I have been waiting a month thus far. This all started back in February 2025. I also called the manufacturer to try and get some help. I got no where. Very frustrating!! Poor quality product and poor customer service.
