I had been putting off treatment for years as my previous orthodontist said I would need metal braces and jaw surgery where I would then be wired shut for a period of time. A friend recommended sunrise orthodontics because they are up to date on the newest treatment methods. Our experience with Dr. Liat and her team at Sunrise Orthodontics has been fantastic! Dr. Liat is a brilliant doctor whose experience, expertise, and honesty were reflected in every decision she made with us along our daughter’s 3-year journey to a beautiful smile. Doctor is nice, staffs are friendly. Consultation fee alone however is $500. They don't even tell you unless you find out the x-ray they ask you to do costs just $60.

I previously left a poor review here. However, I have just found out that Dr. Matson is no longer employed here. The office is clean and pleasant, despite being humiliating for any patient over the age of 10 to be seen in. (it's a little too childish for older kids). I would still use caution, asI would with any place that had hired Dr. Matson. The front desk staff and hygienists are absolutely lovely. But avoid Dr Gartner, no matter how tempting it is to go to the same Dental Office. She should not work with children as she... read more

The correct response to someone saying "it hurts" is not "no it doesn't". You need to tell someone, no matter how old they are, but especially if they are old enough to hold a job, everything your treatment will entail before you do it. Because they might want to say no, given that information. They do have that right. You don't know what's a "big deal" to someone, and you don't have any right to judge what is.
