Recently had my aunt living at Sunrise of New Dorp on the memory care floor. I can’t think of a better place other than home where I would have liked her to live. The staff took such great care of her and treated her with dignity and respect during her last days here. Many of the staff even attended her funeral services which showed how much they cared not just for her but for our family. Sunrise of New Dorp is a magnificent community where they truly care about seniors and engage with the community. The events are amazing! Kristina and April are so helpful and always go the extra mile.
From my experience this place just looks nice. Staff and management is rude. Management picks and chooses who has to follow the rules and who doesn’t. Residents are being charged for care that they never receive.
I highly recommend Sunrise of New Dorp Lane. The entire staff was so caring and compassionate with my Uncle James. You definitely need to go and take a visit if you’re thinking about placing a loved one. Andrea.
