They're not living there yet so I won't give a 5-star (just for lack of full information), but I give a very strong review for the staff, and how welcoming they have been to my dad and I as we look for a community for him to move into in 2027. Very friendly staff, the tour was great, Sara did a great job. I highly recommend if this location works for you and your family, to look into Sunrise, and ask for Sara. She's very helpful.

My experience at Sunrise was extremely positive while I was here in a respite room for a few months recovering from an injury. The facility is very nice, the food is good and the staff are unanimously excellent in all areas including care managers, dining room, activities, concierge, maintenance, and administrative. The residents are treated with kindness and respect by all staff. Also of note are an excellent physical therapy team and a small but lovely garden that is maintained by a few of the residents.

Sunrise Senior Living on Belfort is the best kept secret in Jacksonville for assisted living! Priced about $1000 per month LESS than the dirty-dingy-depressing others we visited. Facility is gorgeous! Mom has encountered only top quality, truly caring professionals there and made many friends at the excellent activities offered at Sunrise. Food is delicious. Everything is so personalized and much attention given to each resident. Tough decision to move out of state, since Florida son passed away, to live near her 3 daughters... read more

We met with Jim to see the property & available rooms. He graciously listened to our needs & showed us around. Sunrise is lovely, has kind & friendly staff, delicious food, light & airy decor, a lovely garden walking area, and many activity rooms. It’s a lovely place to call home!

I recently visited Sunrise Retirement Home and was genuinely impressed. The first thing that caught my eye was how clean and well-maintained everything was. It’s clear there’s real attention to detail, which makes a big difference in a place where your mom will be cared for. What truly made the visit special, though, was the staff.
