Sunrise is a truly caring place. They immediately communicated this to my father and myself in the very first visit. They provide a high level of care that Is far above other facilities. The staff is patient and professional. The activities are rich and tailored towards the residents interests. I feel so at ease that parents are being so well cared for. I highly recommend Sunrise of Braintree.
I experienced RACIST COMMENTS from an employee at the location on Dec 20, 2020 at about 3pm. I reported to the manager and she gave no response, no apology regarding my complaint. I appeal to the county to investigate and take appropriate action. Racism is not accept anywhere!!!!
I do not recommend Brighton Gardens of Charlotte. My mother has lived there for 5 years initially in assisted living then in the dementia unit. There is a high turnover of staff which challenges continuity of communication and care. I have experienced a few good caregivers and more than a few bad apples. There is a need for continuous follow up and advocating for your loved one. I have no confidence or trust in their care. I would have moved my mother, but another family member felt a move would be difficult for her. I can n... read more
My father entered Brighton in April 2019 on a respite basis. We were told about their $2,000 referral credit special as an enticement to move in. Once he was in and we got our first bill, we asked about the credit. We were told it was only available to permanent residents (info conveniently withheld when we moved him in). My father ended up staying through September 2019. In July we were told that my father automatically became a permanent resident 30 days after move in. There is a $1500 move-in fee for permanent resident... read more
Our mother deteriorated badly at Sunrise and was rushed to the ER, severely dehydrated and overmedicated and nearly died. We were SO fortunate that she survived and, after long weeks of recovery and rehab, was able to move to a much better facility and has been thriving since leaving Sunrise. What a difference between Sunrise of Leawood and her new place. Would never, ever recommend this place to others. In fact, a neighbor mentioned they were searching for a place for their elderly parent and had visited Sunrise of Lea... read more
My father is at this facility. The response time is horrendous. Not a caring facility. Profit is the obvious driver
Such a caring group of CNAs that really love the residents and treat them great. That's all that matters...
You MUST closely supervise your loved one's health. Nurses hired by Sunrise are incompetent. Don't rely on them to recognize symptoms of a serious medical problem. Sunrise nurses could not even recognize signs of a fever or dehydration. Or they just don't care. Hospitalizations, or worse, result from their neglect. Also, Sunrise nurses like to have residents placed under hospice care because it relieves them of all responsibility for the resident's well-being.
