Every time I enter into Bickford of Bexley I find immediately welcomed and at home. The happiness coordinators, nurses and directors are friendly and responsive to needs of residents as well as engaged in various activities such as karaoke, outings, and some one on one time completing puzzles or engaging in cards/Scrabble. The residents enjoy time on the porch, Bingo and enjoy conversations at various restaurants in the city. Here at Bickford of Bexley, strangers become family and friends. My mother has been at Bickford for a few months now and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving. The staff are always kind and engaging her. The medical care she is receiving could not be managed in a home setting. I toured 10+ facilities and selected Bickford as the best.

Myah at the Bickford of Bexley was so helpful with making families adjust and feel welcomed. She shown a level of compassion and empathy that resonates with the families and makes her incredibly easy to work with. I would recommend her to any family that needs someone to walk with them through their journey.

My first impression was that the facility felt homey and not like a medical facility. What I’ve come to learn is that my dad is part of a family there. The staff are so caring and they treat the residents like family. When dad was in the hospital recently and I brought him back to the Bickford he was greeted with “welcome home” when he walked back through the doors. I’m so grateful for the staff for taking such great care of my dad.
