This facility just had a "petting zoo" in extreme heat with clearly stressed out animals. Very sad abuse.
My mother has been at Sunrise since 2022 and my goodness … the excellent staff, strong leadership, and deep caring she has received there just overwhelms me. I would give 10 stars if i could.
I was very inexperienced with elder care when we originally found ourselves looking for assisted living for my bachelor uncle. Fortunately the Sunrise staff kindly guided us to understand what he needed and help get him settled in this cute, mansion-like assisted living home. If you are looking for a place for your parent, look no further. Let me begin with the weeks leading up to my mom moving in. The staff at Sunrise Arlington were full time counselors to me - answering my texts well after business hours and spending long periods of time counseling me through the difficulties of transitioning my mom. It’s taken me a while to come here and write this but Sunrise took great care of my mother. She was there in 2021-2022. The staff were always very welcoming and friendly. Her room was a good size and always clean. I appreciated the atmosphere they tried to foster to make it feel more like home. The facility was secure.
