Our family is grateful for the attention my 88 year old dad received at Sunrise of Annapolis in Memory Care. He was well fed, well looked after, and most importantly, happy and engaged. He had his own suite with a private bathroom, but he was rarely in his room. He spent most of his time socializing and participating in activities in the communal spaces. My parent resides at Sunrise (already srveral years) and it is a very supportive and kind community there. I believe my parent's return to health and their longevity is due the consistent and considerate care they receive.

After many years of a very good experience for my mother at Sunrise of Annapolis, the situation has become less than acceptable over the past few months. As my mother’s needs increased, we worked through many new challenges and I remained confident that it was just a matter of time for her new needs to become routine. I have been there quite frequently for months now to help my mother. I find myself cleaning her suite from kitchenette, to bathroom toilet/floor to carpeting to her table for eating. This place don’t care about no one but themselves. Today I got fired for calling out of a shift through the app that their managers don’t check or update. My daughter was sick & having seizures soo I decided to call out via the app. The told me to bring a not just for them to fire me 2 days later. There are people drunk on the job, consuming the residents pills, residents not being taken care of properly, unprofessional management. I’m going to corporate, osha, & states. My experience with Sunrise of Annapolis has been nothing short of amazing. When I visited the community, everyone seemed so friendly. They seemed to get it from my initial contact. What impressed me the most, was Bridget, the Director calling me back the next day to check on my time in the community. I felt like a friend versus a customer.
