CITYMD sent my COVID swab to Sunrise Labs on 7/22/2020. It's 8/3/2020 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY RESULTS. I went to CITYMD with COVID symptoms and I told them I had been exposed. I have called Sunrise Labs over and OVER AND OVER again; have spoken to MULTIPLE people and NO ONE helps. Is my test sample even VIABLE any longer?? 1) they never open on time 2) their customer service sucks. Always nasty and never an apology 3) today a bunch of us were waiting on line. How do you tell a pregnant woman they have to wait in the waiting room for 2 plus hours and be exposed to everyone else that may come in while your state still has many restrictions in place? I'm an adult an dont need to be babysat to make sure I do not eat or drink during a glucose test. Youd think being medical lab you would want the least amount of exposure to your high risk patients but apparently sunrise does not follow state protocols.

This location actually just fired an employee who suffered injuries from a car accident while she is on disability . Moves like that will encourage me to use other labs and being in the medical field , I will encourage others to do the same !
Locations on google in NYC aren't accurate. When I complained, I was told that I should really call before going. How is that the solution in 2020?? People don't call; we look up directions on google and go to what is listed. It's especially concerning considering that the sample I was turning in was time sensitive. Ultimately, NYU Langone connected me to a sales rep who was really, really friendly, but I had to go crazy and cry on them to get someone to help me. The location on Motor pkwy in Happauge has the most incompetent staff ever.
I had to update my insurance policy twice. They keep playing games, saying I didn't have coverage. I did!!! This has been going on since March!!!! They sent me at least five bills for nearly $3,000. I called them once in May to update my insurance policy (I switched policies in April). They sent me another inaccurate bill. My insurance company called them in June and verified that my insurance was updated on their file. Yet when I called them today they still had my old policy on file.
