In my opinion the West Babylon location is not safe. There is only 1 employee, (lab tech) at this location and no manager or even a receptionist to oversee what is going on. I have been going to this location for years and all was fine until they made a change in staff and I was outright bullied during my visit. The new tech had it out for me before I even went inside. Claimed that my doctors weren’t part of their group & it would be difficult for the doctors to access my results. She would have had to enter my information by hand. I left
lady inside is extremely rude and disrespectful, didnt help with any questions and had a really nasty attitude
Today the phlebotomist only wore one glove to which she tore the finger tip off of. What's the point of wearing a glove(supposed to be two glove)? She used a butterfly over a straight needle which gives a more accurate result. It seems like most phlebotomist at this lab favor butterfly needles. Do they need to be retrained? Lab tech did not want to be there. Very unfriendly and impersonal, left a huge bruise on my arm 3 weeks after the service. Tired of explaining what happened. Use Quest. More professional.
