Exceptionally long wait times. SRO in the waiting room. Only one overwhelmed technician working. A pre printed framed sign declaring that they are short staffed.
Another GREAT review to the ladies/staff at Sunrise Lab Corp at 877 Steward Ave, Garden City. Always friendly, pleasant, professional. Although, many people waiting ahead of me, this morning, their professional system is great and it moves along very quickly. A special shoutout and thank you to blood taker, "One-Woman Show", Venus with taking blood! So sweet, professional & compassionate towards the patient being nervous. I did not feel a thing. This is a review for Sunrise Lab Corp. at 877 Stewart Avenue in Garden City. This morning I arrived as a walk-in for blood work for an upcoming meniscal tear surgery. The woman behind the desk professionally greeted me and was very pleasant. Although there were several people who arrived ahead of me, the wait was very quick, as was the actual process of drawing blood. Horrible service nobody knows what’s going on. I just went to drop off a sample and waited 45mins to be seen. Finally I got up and told them again that I’m just dropping off a sample ordered by the doctor and the girl behind the desk said oh just put it in the basket, I said excuse me I told you this when I first walked in and you told me to sit down and wait to be seen. She replied with I didn’t know why you’re here.
