Changing stories We bought our new home through KB homes, and Sunrise is their air conditioning contractor. We have had to have them out to our home at least 5 times in the year we have lived here. 1)They "forgot" to hook up our electronic air cleaner. 2) Someone put the air cleaner filters in backwards - the light indicator wouldn't work 3) One crew said "do not use a filter in your return air duct" 4) One crew said "always use an air filter in your return air duct. Rip Off!!! The service technician was great. He showed up on time, was knowledgeable and courteous. However, they will rip you off beyond your wildest imagination on parts. They just charged me $255 for a part that I could have easily ordered myself online for $19.40 and $5.99 shipping. That is over 1000% markup. I will never use this company again, and they should be ashamed of their predatory practices. I donât mind paying for skilled labor, I think there is a shortage of it in this country.
