Great place to go for dental care
I’ve been a patient at Sunrise Dental (Durham location, Dr. Hanson) for years. I have never had a complaint about the care I receive there. The staff is always professional and courteous. The dental assistants and hygienists are always friendly and open to answering any questions I have. The team at Sunrise really care about their patients and I highly recommend.
I am sadly updating a previous 5 star review. I have been coming to this practice for over 10 years. I love Dr. Azzu as a dentist, but I have seen the practice decline recently in many ways. The final straw for me was getting sent to collections over a hundred dollar bill that I wasn't even aware of. Today was my six month cleaning. The dental hygienists made me comfortable throughout, knowing I have a gagging problem with x-rays, making me laugh to lower my anxiety. Dr. Azzu reassured me that my old fillings were still doing alright and not in any need to be replaced or crowned yet, so I was really happy to hear that. I’ve been a patient there for a few years and I highly recommend this dental practice!
Sunrise Dental is the best! Everyone from the front desk staff, to the assistants, hygienists and Dr. Azzu are all so kind and helpful. My husband and I are very happy with their care. If you aren’t going here then you are at the wrong dentist.
