Extremely poor customer service. Asked for a call back from the owner and he/she never bothered. Installers played music, goofed around and ignored requests to avoid landscaping.
Anna was very unprofessional and rude on the phone within the first 45 seconds of answering. My questions: Me: whats the cost to install solar for a well pump and greenhouse? Anna: you need a permit. Me: we are permitted. Anna: generally you need permits bla bla bla. Me: yeah we're already hooked up to pge and fully permitted, we just want supplemental power Anna: "yeah I'm not too experienced with that, you take.."click I hung up bc she was so transparently rude in response to me being patient and respectful with her repeti... read more
We had an18 panel Solar system installed by Hooked on Solar in Sept 2014. The installation went reasonably well and we were very happy with the system for the first 5 years. In Sept of this year, 1 of the 18 panels stopped producing electricity. Up until this point, I would have rated this company as a 4 but the lack of service and communication we encountered with this repair has moved my experience to a 1. What a flawless experience. As I was contemplating solar panels, my sales rep, Lisa McNeil, was patient answering all of my questions and guiding me through the process. Everything went smoothly and the work was completed in a day. I had to reschedule the installment date and that was not a problem. They were quickly able to accommodate my change and got me on the calendar at a time that worked for me better. Lisa has been incredibly responsive and available to me. Justin was very informative was unlike any other sales person I have ever dealt with. Justin truly was advocating for me Helping me in deciding if I needed solar And if I did how much of a system I needed. Justin gave me all information I needed in a clear English by the time he finished his sales pitch and answering all my questions Over and over.
