I would give Dr. Monzavi a 10-star rating! Scheduling an appointment with him is easy, and he is both highly skilled and knowledgeable. I also want to compliment the dental assistant and the front desk staff—they are friendly and efficient. The office is very accessible, as they can be reached via email, text, and phone. Additionally, the office manager, Madison, is incredibly hardworking and helpful. She handled my insurance claim quickly and even refunded me when my insurance covered more than expected. Dr. Monzavi is outstanding in his field. From start to finish, my experience with him was exceptional. He has a unique ability to blend technical expertise with a calm and caring approach, making complex procedures feel manageable. The staff were equally professional and friendly, creating a welcoming environment.
The doctor itself is ok but the major issue is with the front desk. When I scheduled a check up on one root, I sent them the insurance card. They don’t tell you that they are out of my network and didn’t give you an estimate of the cost. They asked me to pay 120 for 5 min check up after the appointment and send me a bill of 186 for the remaining. Be aware to check your insurance and require a cost estimation before your appointment.
Had a root canal retreatment done with Dr. Monzavi. He was very professional and took my health conditions into consideration - he actually adjusted the standard treatment plan to give me the best chances of success possible (my 1st endo opinion did not mention this as a possibility). He communicated throughout the treatment process which I really appreciate. The endodontist had a bad bedside manner. Got the feeling that he enjoyed inflicting pain on people. I will NEVER go back.
