My elderly mother was told she needed a new battery. She was charged for one -- including labor to install it and check the charging system. But this just wasn't true. How do I know? When the battery on this car goes dead -- as the mechanic claimed -- you need to enter a code to unlock the radio, when you finally restart the car. Funny thing was, he didn't... read more
Horrible customer service - can't fix things the first time So much for ma and pop stores getting the job done right the first time and providing good customer service. After the second time I brought my rig back to have it fixed correctly, the mechanic insinuated that I was somehow breaking it as soon as I left, and they fixed it right. Then he tried to tell me that these things often take 2 or 3 times to fix. What ever happened to fixing it right the first time? Never had a problem in over 15 years. My parents moved out to Sequim about 15 years ago, and have gone to Sunnyside Auto all that time. Never had a bad experience, that's why they kept coming back over all the years. Owner and staff are knowledgable, honest, and friendly. Hell they gotta be, cuz they bump into their customers at the grocery store all the time. Service has always been fair, often at lower cost than anticipated. Clean shop. First rate operation in my family's experience.
