I hired Sunny to help me get life insurance a few years ago. Recently, I had to switch banks and called Sunny to update what bank account my life insurance was auto-drafting from. He said I just needed to give him the bank info from the check which I did over the phone. A month later when I went to close the old account, it was still auto-drafting from it and I now owed $75! I was told over the phone that my tax preparation would cost between $80 and $100. The total bill, after the preparation was done was $269. I understand a little mistake of a few dollars, but $170??? I don't effing think so. Since my returns were already filed, I was stuck paying it. On top of this, he told me he would give me a great deal on an amendment I had to make on my 2009 returns, which was a very simple process.
