I waited almost a year for a new patient appt. I had high hopes. The staff is wonderful! Dr. Tomlinson, unfortunately is arrogant, she does NOT listen, she makes false assumptions, she was aggressive in word and tone, and then wondered why people were so hesitant to trust their doctors. I wonder? I am not overly sensitive however I had to keep myself from getting up and walking out at least 3 times! Wonderful doctor & staff!
First, I am gonna say that her office staff is very nice. At first, she seemed friendly, smiling and laughing and wanting to be thorough. Through that "sunny" facade, tho, a passive aggression and condescension came through that implied she is the ultimate authority in all things when we wanted to discuss and be an active participant in our medical decisions. Dr. Sunny is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. She does speak quickly, but I’ve always found my space to respond and ask questions if I didn’t understand. In my opinion, she has a good sense of humor. Very encouraging when you make progress with your health goals.
After retiring to New Smyrna Beach I needed to find all new doctors- which as we all know, can he a daunting experience, especially when there are very few doctors taking new patients. Dr Sunny Tomlinson just happened to be a new doctor in the area and I was able to get in to see her. She is awesome! Personable, insightful, caring, knowledgeable, thorough and funny! You can’t get any better! I highly recommend her to you!
